Antenna Design

This presentation will give an overview on antenna simulation with CST Studio Suite. It starts with an overview of numerical solver technologies included in CST, and then covers all main steps of antenna design. Antenna Magus is used for the right choice of an antenna including a pre-layout, it is simulated with one of the 3D solvers and matched in a 3D-circuit-cosimulation. A special focus is given on the design of an array from a unit cell and antenna placement on a platform. Finally aspects of certification like interference and SAR are covered.
